Don’t you just love raspberries… and bubbly… well, here’s an idea – put the two together and make this delicious champagne cocktail!
What you need:
Sorbet – raspberries / sugar /water / lemon juice
Bubbly (we chose the delicious Grant Burge Pinot Noir Chardonnay for this one)
Pretty Glass – and when we say ‘pretty’ we mean seriously pretty, crystal, luxury, decadent, because you deserve it.
(You might always want candles for ambience….)
Rocket Science Part:
Add sorbet to pretty glass, top with bubbles, enjoy!
Making sorbet is incredibly easy, so if you have the time and inclination here is the recipe:
Blend the raspberries and water. Gradually add the sugar and blend until smooth.
After that, just follow your ice cream maker’s instructions.
If you don’t have an ice cream maker (we don’t), put it in a freezer-proof container and then take it out after 30 mins and give it another stir – do this twice and you’ll eliminate the chance of it being icy or grainy.
It needs about 1-2 hours to set, so you’ll need to plan ahead.
